Regional Work and Skills Partnership Board
Following recent changes to national government policy, there is no longer a requirement to produce an Integrated Regional Skills Strategy or a Regional Skills Strategy. Regional arrangements are being dismantled and Local Enterprise Partnerships are being developed to drive economic development in line with the government’s localism agenda.
The Regional Work and Skills Partnership (RWSP) Board meets quarterly to support the transition from regional arrangements, including to support emerging and proposed Local Enterprise Partnerships on the work and skills agenda.
The RWSP provides a forum for agencies and stakeholders involved in employment and skills in Yorkshire and Humber to meet at a strategic level and aims to ensure that employment and skills is an intrinsic part of the approach to economic development going forward.
