Directions
By Car
From the M1 Southbound: Leave at Junction 41. Take the A650. Follow signs to Wakefield Centre. At County Hall turn right on to Cliff Parade. Take the second left, turning down into King Street.
From the M1 Northbound: Leave at Junction 39. Take the A636. Follow signs to Wakefield Centre. At the roundabout after the railway bridge near the city centre, take the first exit to Ings Road. At the end of Ings Road, take the right filter lane. Turn right up Westgate. At Barclays Bank, turn left up Wood Street, filter left at the top of Wood Street on to Cliff Parade. Take the second left turning down into King Street.
From the M621: Leave at Junction 7. Take the A61. Follow signs to Wakefield Centre via the A650. At County Hall, turn right on to Cliff Parade. Take the second left, turning down into King Street.
From the M62: Leave at Junction 30. Take the A642. Follow signs to Wakefield Centre. At the roundabout, take the third exit to the A61 (dual carriageway). At the next roundabout take the first exit. Filter into the right hand lane. At the traffic lights take the first right into Rishworth Street. At the top of Rishworth Street, take the middle filter lane. This will take you almost straight across the junction on to Cliff Parade. Take the second left, turning down into King Street.
Car Parking – There is no car parking on King Street. If you are travelling by car, please use one of the car parks indicated on the map.
By Train
The main station (Westgate) is close to the town centre and is a 10 minute walk from LGYH. Local trains also run into Kirkgate station, which is a 20 minute walk from LGYH.
