East Riding Council - Village Task Force

East Riding Council - Village Task Force

There are many examples of Local Authorities engaging with and empowering neighbourhoods to improve their environment - but most relate to large urban, densely populated areas. The challenge we face here in the East Riding is how we can empower our scattered rural communities across such a vast area.

This example seeks to provide the 'proof of the pudding', translating this challenge into action in the services that our residents have told us, through consultation, are those that are most important to their quality of life - the 'cleaner, safer, greener' agenda.

We want to tell you about a very significant initiatives - Village Task Force Visits
