Making a Difference in Yorkshire and Humber Awards 2011

Local Government Yorkshire and Humber (LGYH) has announced the results for the Making a Difference in Yorkshire and Humber Awards 2011. The Awards recognise the workers and front line staff from councils, police, fire and national park authorities who have gone that extra mile to make a difference to the lives of local people.

The Making a Difference Awards are all about celebrating the achievements of those who work in Local Authorities, many of whom go unrecognised and unrewarded. The Awards are about saying thank you to everyone for their hard work and celebrating those that have excelled in their achievements.

The Awards 2011 are completely funded by corporate sponsorship and cost nothing for either LGYH to host, or Local Authorities to attend. LGYH would like to thank Amey, Shanks, Wakefield and District Housing, Bang Marketing, HayGroup, Welcome to Yorkshire, Yorkshire Gold, NPS Group, Connect Communications, YoHr Space and the LGA for their support.
