The Get Set network is launched! : On 15th September, London 2012 launched its special new community, the Get Set network.

The Games delivers benefits to local businesses across the UK : More than 1,000 UK businesses to date have won contracts worth over £5bn from the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) as the venues and infrastructure needed for the Games and legacy continue to take shape. These contracts have in turn created thousands more supply chain opportunities.

Inspire Programme Update : The London 2012 Inspire programme is open to local authorities and non-commercial organisations which deliver projects that are inspired or energised by the 2012 Games.

The London 2012 Inspire programme team are especially keen to see more sport projects and events awarded the Inspire Mark. Councils are the key delivery agent for sport and physical activity and so are ideally placed to work in partnership with London 2012 to increase sport participation.
